The St. Louis World’s Fair may have been the first time Ad and Plinky Toepperwein performed in public as husband and wife, but the couple from the Lone Star State wowed the matinee audience on May 13, 1904 with their trick-shot artistry.
I want to say a heartfelt thank you to everyone who voted for The Copper Garden as the 2025 New Business of the Year. What an honor—especially as we get close to our six-month mark.

Letter to the Editor, For many it has been quiet on the solar and wind front for a while. The election and inauguration of President Trump led many to believe the renewables drive was no longer a threat. Well, we can all hope, but so far it is not deterring companies from reaching out for new leases.
Dear Editor, Hamilton County 4-H would like to thank C&F Steel, Bullard Construction, The Melde Family and Danny Watson for their contributions to the Hamilton County Youth Fair. We would also like to thank Donahoo Lawn Service for the donated grilling supplies. We would not have been able to grill hamburgers without your generous donation.
To the Hamilton Community, The Hamilton I.S.D. Board of Trustees made the difficult decision to call for a bond election at a special called meeting Monday, Feb. 3, for $19.8 million. The purpose of this article is to inform you of how this number was reached, a timeline that dates back to May 2019.
