Seventh grader Isaac Downs and eighth grader Lillian Fletcher each earned individual gold medals on Wednesday of last week during the Dublin FCA Run, leading their respective Hamilton Junior High cross country teams to medal stand performances.

A pair of extra points by the Crawford Pirates proved to be the difference between the ninth-ranked home team and the tenth-ranked Hamilton Bulldogs last Friday night. Crawford pirated a 14-12 victory in an all-out slugfest between the two state-ranked contenders.
