Saint Mary’s Anglican Church is proud to present Strechology with Christie be-ginning June 16. This will be an hour-long wellness class focused on building strength, flexibility, and balance through stretching. Classes will be held Wednesday from 6 to 7 pm in the parish hall located at the corner of Highway 36 and College Street. Parking is in the North side parking lot. Classes will be $5 per class. Please bring your yoga mat and join us for a time of stretching and relaxation.
The Republican Party is hosting Range Day on July 10 at Holley Gun Range at 1502 Bald Knob Road in Gatesville. Admission is $10 with no charge for children under age 16. 100 CLUB- Senior Colby Bailey (right) went the distance in his final outing last Friday in Weatherford versus Anson, recording 12 strikeouts while allowing just two hits through seven innings of work. Bailey dismissed 132 batters this season from the mound. The Jonesboro Eagles soared last week at the 1A UIL State Golf Tournament in Kingsland.
After making the playoffs for the first time in 15 years, Hamilton’s bi-district qualifying 14-7-1 Lady Bulldogs captured numerous District 12-2A accolades, starting with Head Coach Kady Crow being named the district’s Co-Coach of the Year.
