Hamilton’s Lady Bulldogs captured a 13-2 district win over Itasca on Tuesday of last week before going 2-1-1 in a three-day softball tournament held in Riesel Thursday through Saturday.

Trailing a 4-0 run through Hamilton’s Louis Lowe IV Invitational the previous week, the Hamilton Bulldog baseball team again claimed four straight victories in the Poolville/Peaster tournament over spring break.

Hamilton’s varsity Lady Bulldog track team captured their second consecutive team title last Thursday in the Tolar Rattler Relays, and after placing second in Dublin the previous week, the varsity Dogs raced to a first place finish in Tolar. Hamilton’s junior varsity squads both claimed runner-up team finishes in the Rattler Relays. Hamilton’s high school track teams will return following spring break to host the annual Extraco Relays on Thursday, Mar. 18.
