NRCS in Texas accepting applications for Conservation Programs

(Temple, TX, September 15, 2026) – The U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) continues to put Farmers First through a historic investment in conservation on agricultural lands through USDA’s Natural Resources Conservation Service (NRCS) as a result of the conservation funding provided by the Working Families Tax Cuts Act.

This makes Texas the first state in the nation to hold TikTok liable for misleading parents about the safety of its platform and for exposing children to inappropriate content.

St. Mary’s to close doors after 130 years

Today, St. Mary’s is currently under the auspices of the Anglican Church in North America denomination, but it began as an Episcopal church in 1868 in the home of Mrs. E. D. Bell. Applications open for Goodfellow Christmas food and gift assistance

The Billingslea-Wilson-Lovell Goodfellows Organization, in collaboration with the Hamilton Lions Club, invites families to apply for the 2026 annual Goodfellows Christmas Assistance program. This Christmas gift and food assistance drive was able to serve 98 families with 141 children during the 2025 holiday season.
