REGION X RODEO- Hamilton High School was well represented during the Texas High School Rodeo Association’s Region X Rodeo hosted by Circle T Arena over the weekend. After branding a 21st-place finish in pole bending on Saturday, Haley McGregor, bottom photo, returned on Sunday and stamped a 19th individual finish. Brazos McGregor, left, pictured on the heel side, saddled up with partner Judge Quattlebaum of Star in team roping, and header Callahan Cooper is pictured, above, making a successful catch for his heeler and teammate Cade Branquinho. Branquinho, top photo, who is ranked second in the Region X Overall Cowboy standings and first in steer wrestling, placed first with a time of 4.96 seconds on Saturday in the event and second on Sunday in a time of 6.69 seconds.

Sip & Stroll March 28

Hamilton’s Historic Main Street’s Sip & Stroll is set for Saturday, March 28, from 3 to 7 p.m., and residents and visitors are invited to explore downtown while enjoying Texas wines, local art, music and shopping.
