Brandee Paschal recently introduced her new business in downtown Hamilton. As of Dec. 1, 2025, she became the owner of Wave Therapy, located in suite B at 400 East Main St. in the building behind Farmers Insurance.
Hamilton Community Center is open 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Monday through Friday. Meals are served at 11:30 a.m. each day. Menu subject to change Thursday: Tamales, pinto beans, corn and brownies. There was some confusion last week that I had resigned, through it was a misunderstanding regarding the resignation of Todd Jordan. I did not resign as mayor. Todd Jordan received a promotion with TXDOT and is now stationed in Comanche. His hours are not always set in stone, making it difficult to make some council meetings. Todd was our mayor pro tem, meaning that if, for some reason, I had to miss a meeting, he would conduct the meeting in my place.
(AUSTIN) — Acting Texas Comptroller Kelly Hancock last week said state sales tax revenue totaled $4.3 billion in December 2025, 5.7 percent more than in December 2024.

The Hamilton Main Street Program is now accepting applications for a Youth Board Member to serve as a non-voting member of the Main Street Board of Directors. This opportunity is open to current high school juniors and seniors who live in Hamilton County and are interested in leadership, community involvement, and gaining real-world experience.

Southern New Hampshire University has announced that Stacie Brooks of Pottsville has been named to the Fall 2025 President’s List. The fall terms run from September to December.
