The City of Hamilton’s Bulk Waste Collection Facility and Burn Site will be open on Saturday, July 11, to make up for the July 4 holiday closure, and again on Saturday, July 18, from 8 a.m. to noon.

Plans for the new Hamilton Community Center building are moving forward said HCC Board Treasurer Lloyd Huggins. The designated one-acre lot for the new building donated by Charlie Bottlinger is located at 602 S. Dempster in Hamilton.

On behalf of everyone at Hamilton Public Library, I would like to extend our heartfelt gratitude to the Hamilton community for making this year’s Library Summer Camp an overwhelming success. Almost 100 young explorers spent four unforgettable days discovering science, history, nature, and the joy of reading through our Unearth a Story summer program.

Library Summer Camp may have wrapped up its journey beneath our feet, but Hamilton Public Library is inviting the community to keep digging into the wonders of nature, history, and science with three exciting guest presentations that promise to entertain curious minds of every age. All events are free and open to the public.

Football Camp July 13-15 Hamilton football camp for first through ninth grades will be July 13-15 from 9-11:30 a.m. Registration fee is $40.
