SUMMER HOOPS: Junior high and high school Lady Bulldog basketball players have tipped off the summer with hardcourt enthusiasm. Intersquad three-on-three competition will continue this Thursday from 4:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. in the Larry Eilers Gymnasium, and following final games in Glen Rose on Tuesday of this week, Hamilton's junior varsity and varsity squads will transition to summer league play in Lampasas. Games in Lampasas are scheduled for each Thursday evening throughout the month of June. 6 Lady Dogs hammer post-season honors as softball playoffs continue

District 8-2A released all-district softball honors on Monday following the elimination of Moody, Bosqueville, Crawford and Valley Mills from the playoffs. Six Hamilton Lady Bulldogs received accolades. Emery Parrott claimed first team all-district honors, and Reese Kelley and Bethany Thompson were both named second team honorees. Seniors Kayden Hudson, Kylee Little and Adriana Hernandez each received honorable mention recognition.
