Agricultural producers who have not yet completed their crop acreage reports after spring planting should make an appointment with the Hamilton County Farm Service Agency before the applicable deadline.

The holiday weekend was fun, fun, fun in Hamilton! Saturday featured lawn mower races by the Lone Star Mower Racing Association, with members showing up from Madisonville, College Station, Bryan, Longview, Concho County, San Angelo and Houston to try out the mud in the Keith Curry Arena at Fair Park. There was also cornhole competition, bounce houses and a street taco cookoff. Sunday, the fun moved to Pecan Creek Park for bounce houses, free hot dogs, music by Branded Heart and fabulous fireworks.
