CHEER CAMP- Eleven Hamilton High School cheerleaders and five alumni helpers have had 65 Ann Whitney Elementary students at Cheer Camp this week. The cheer showcase is set for 10 a.m. Wednesday and open to the public.

Brandon and Kelsey Buffe announce the birth of their daughter, Oaklyn Rhen Buffe.

Oaklyn was born Friday, June 25. She weighed 7.2 pounds and was 18 1/2 inches long.

Oaklyn was welcomed home by siblings Carson, Ella and Cutter.

Pearl Baptist Church will have a guest speaker, Dave Roever, July 25 at 6 p.m. under the tabernacle.

Roever is a Vietnam veteran and served as a U.S. Navy riverboat gunner in the elite Brown Water Black Beret.
