Former Hamilton Mayor Lambert Little recently attended the Texas City Management Association annual conference at the Kalahari Resort in Round Rock, where he was named a Life Member in the association.

Solomon declares, “Wisdom crieth aloud in the street; She uttereth her voice in the broad places; She crieth in the chief place of concourse; At the entrance of the gates, In the city, she uttereth her words” (Proverbs 1:20-21). Here wisdom is personified as a woman. Wisdom is said to be crying out for people to listen. “Doth not wisdom cry, And understanding put forth her voice” (Proverbs 8:1)? She cries “in the streets,” in “the broad places,” in “the chief places of concourse,” at “the entrance of the gate,” and “in the city.” She is making herself available to anyone who will seek her. Her voice is everywhere heard, in public, in private, in the streets, and in the house. No one can complain that he has been denied the opportunity of hearing and acquiring wisdom.
