In an article in last week’s edition about COVID-19 cases in Hamilton County and the filing of an exemption to the governor’s orders for Hamilton County, it was stated that Judge Mark Tynes and the commissioners court met with city, law enforcement and school representatives before filing the exemption.

Little Brother is a repeater. He heard something the other day along the lines of “wash your hands and don’t be racist.” He picked up part of it and got the rest a little off.
Twenty-four year old Sam Houston joined a Masonic lodge in his home state of Tennessee on Jul. 12, 1817, a couple of decades before members of the fraternal order helped shape the future of Texas.
