Letter to the editor
Dear Editor,
Dear Editor,
I’m feeling sad but not heartbroken this week with Hamilton’s loss of a great lady, Dorothy Harelik.
I went to New York over spring break. We were supposed to get to see a Broadway play, but it was canceled the day of our tickets.
The T-Rex has a ton of teeth. And it can stomp really loud and roar very loud.
Dear Editor:
I am having a hard time finding words for recent events. So many of my friends have put together something eloquent as a means of expressing themselves in the wake of the death of George Floyd and the protesting that has been going on the wake of this loss.
On that stormy Tuesday of controversy, before the Lord was crucified the following Friday, Jesus asks some of His antagonists: “...What think ye of Christ? whose son is he?” (Mt. 22:42). The Lord’s adversaries on that day were unable to satisfactorily answer the question for they did not understand the true nature of Jesus and His work. In like manner, there are many today who are still unable to answer this question adequately. For this reason no greater study than that of Jesus. It is important to understand that the more we know Jesus, the more we will love Him and remain faithful to Him.
A recent report from University of Minnesota Rural Health Research Center shows that Hamilton County, Texas is one of the better places to be if you are an aging person and hope to live past 85 years old.
I am continuing to work with Governor Abbott, my fellow members of the Texas legislature and local leaders to safely open the Texas economy. What happens next will be in your hands and the hands of all Texans.
