Dear Editor, The Hamilton Public Library Board would like to thank several people for their recent support. The Hamilton Herald-News staff has been very helpful in covering events at the library over the past two years, most recently the unveiling of the mural for the Children’s Library and the soft opening celebration for the Library’s Hamilton County Genealogy Center. Supportive publicity during the multi-year Expansion Project of the Hamilton Public Library has been of utmost importance in letting the public know facts about the library, its programs, and the community resources it provides.

Working for the Hamilton Herald-News has been a learning experience. Writing is not something I set out to do, but I challenge myself with each article I submit. For this I am thankful.

Dear Editor, On behalf of the Hamilton Band Boosters, we would like to extend our deepest gratitude to everyone who played a role in making the recent Band Boosters Fall Festival an overwhelming success. We were thrilled to revive this beloved community tradition, and it would not have been possible without the unwavering commitment and countless hours of hard work from so many individuals. We would also like to thank everyone who has contributed to the success of our Marching Season and helping with one of our biggest fundraisers, the Concession Stand at Kooken Field.

Dear Editor, Thank you, Hamilton ISD Superintendent Dr. Stewart and Commissioner Precinct four Dickie Clary and employees, for grading the road to the livestock barn.

Dear Maria, Hamilton First United Methodist Church held our exciting Harvest Festival the second weekend in October. After postponing the event for two years due to Covid, the annual festival occurred once again. The two-day garage sale began on Friday, Oct. 13, ushered in with cooler weather and continued through Saturday, Oct. 14.

Hamilton Historic Main-Street is transforming J.L. Hamilton Plaza.

Hamilton Historic Main Street will be hosting an Imagine the Possibilities tour on Tuesday, Oct. 31, from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m.

It’s back! Hamilton Bulldog Band is bringing back its beloved Fall Festival in conjunction with Hamilton Main Street’s Trick or Treat on the Square Halloween night.

Maria: My 100th Birthday Celebration held on Friday, Oct. 6, at the Hamilton Community Center was so outstanding. The food from El Jardin. provided by the Barkley family was delicious and enjoyed by over 100 people.
