After the program was discontinued in 1986, Jonesboro High School baseball reemerged this season with a vengeance.
The Hamilton Bulldogs made quick work of Stamford in the bi-district round of the baseball playoffs last week, shellacking the opposing Bulldogs by margins of 18-0 and 12-2 respectively in games played on Thursday and Saturday in Glen Rose.
LEADING THE PACK- Taylor Long (4) and Caleb Lengefeld (2), pictured leading the pack in the state 2A 800-meter run, entered the meet with the top two fastest times in state and placed first and fourth respectively in Austin Friday.
