The bi-district qualifying Hamilton Bulldog baseball team improved to 19-8-1 on the year and 9-4 in district, picking up decisive 10-0, 10-1 and 13-0 wins respectively in their final three regular season games versus district foe’s Goldthwaite, Cross Plains and May.

Hamilton High School’s tennis teams fought hard at the 2A Region 2 championships last Monday and Tuesday in North Richland Hills, but failed to advance.

Hamilton’s Lady Bulldog softball team, affectionately referred to as the Road Dogs, capped an electrifying season last Thursday and Friday evenings in Glen Rose as they faced Lipan in the bi-district round of the playoffs.

The starting gun for the 2021 UIL Track and Field State Championships is set to fire this coming Thursday and will run through Saturday at the University of Texas Mike A. Myers Stadium in Austin. Several local athletes will be representing their communities and their schools in Austin.

Head Bulldog tennis coach Miles Sellers and six Hamilton regional qualifiers were scheduled to compete in the UIL 2A Region 2 Tennis Championships in North Richland Hills on Monday and Tuesday of this week.

Hamilton’s Lady Bulldog softball team ended the regular season with a 21-6 district victory over Hico on Tuesday of last week to improve to 14-5-1 on the year and 10-2 in district.
