100 CLUB- Senior Colby Bailey (right) went the distance in his final outing last Friday in Weatherford versus Anson, recording 12 strikeouts while allowing just two hits through seven innings of work. Bailey dismissed 132 batters this season from the mound. The Hamilton Bulldogs played their final game of the season on Saturday in Hermleigh versus eighth-ranked Anson.

The Jonesboro Eagles soared last week at the 1A UIL State Golf Tournament in Kingsland.

After making the playoffs for the first time in 15 years, Hamilton’s bi-district qualifying 14-7-1 Lady Bulldogs captured numerous District 12-2A accolades, starting with Head Coach Kady Crow being named the district’s Co-Coach of the Year.

The Hamilton Bulldog golf team placed sixth out of the state’s top 12 teams last week at the 2A UIL State Golf Tournament hosted by The Legends Golf Course in Kingsland.

Following a day-one round of 18 holes played at The Legends Golf Course in Kingsland on Monday during the UIL Boys’ State Golf Tournament, the Hamilton Bulldogs were tied for third with a team tally of 360 strokes.

HHS senior Karsyn Smyth competed last week in the State UIL Golf Championships at Legends Golf Course in Kingsland.
