HHS senior Karsyn Smyth competed last week in the State UIL Golf Championships at Legends Golf Course in Kingsland.
After recording an 18-hole round of 95 on day one of the tournament, Smyth returned to play a condensed nine holes due to inclement weather last Tuesday and shot a 47.
Smyth’s 27-hole tally of 142 strokes placed her 13th overall out of the state’s top 66.
