Helping Hands

Seniors Brooklyn Bragg (34) and Kelton Wright (5) were two of just 50 players in the 2A classification across the state to be named to the Texas Girls Coaches Association All-State Basketball Team. Both seniors reached over 1,000 career points this year as they led the Lady Bulldogs to a 24-10 record and a regional quarterfinal appearance during the 2023-2024 season. Wright was also named the District 12-2A Player of the Year and received 2A-Region 2 All-Region honors this year. In addition to grabbing allstate honors, Bragg dunked a first team all-district nod this season and joined Wright in earning all-region basketball recognition during her senior campaign.

Now 8-9 on the season and 3-2 in district, the Hamilton Bulldog baseball team split a home and away series with district opponent DeLeon last week and narrowly fell on the road to Sweetwater on Saturday by a 5-4 score.

The Hamilton Bulldogs plowed over Winters in back-to-back district contests last Thursday and Friday, improving to 7-7 on the year and 2-1 in district.

Cheers for 30 YEARS!

Following Spring Break, the Bulldog and Lady Bulldog golf teams were scheduled to be back in the swing of things on Monday and Tuesday of this week during the Brock High School Invitational at the Canyon West Golf Course in Weatherford.

As announced during the Evant I.S.D. athletic board meeting on Monday of this week, Evant Elk and Lady Elk basketball players nabbed 28 District 18-1A basketball honors this past season.
