The Hamilton Lady Bulldogs clinched a District 8-2A title with a three-set victory in De Leon on Friday, and a win on Tuesday of this week in Hico could place the Lady Dogs in elite company.

The Bearcats of De Leon navigated into Bulldog territory last Thursday evening and were left marooned by the young Bulldogs. Though the Dogs posted four touchdowns to De Leon’s three, it took a successful two-point attempt with a mere 17 seconds remaining in the ballgame for the Bulldogs to finally tip the scales.
The Bulldogs and Lady Bulldogs kicked up mud in Grand Prairie on Monday, leaving opposing regional runners in need of goggles. Hamilton’s Lady Bulldogs staked a 2A-Region II Championship, and the Bulldogs were crowned Region II runners-up on Monday.
