THAT’S THE BULLDOG BATTLE CRY - Victorious Lady Bulldogs and Bulldogs celebrated as Hamilton’s cross-country girls won a state championship, and the boys placed third at state on Friday in Round Rock. Following Hamilton’s championship runs, the gridiron Bulldogs clinched a bi-district playoff bid with a win in Goldthwaite. The Dogs will kick off versus Tioga this Thursday evening at Fort Worth Brewer’s Bear Stadium beginning at 7 p.m. On Saturday, the Lady Dogs claimed an area-round volleyball championship with a win over Miles. Entering the round of 32, the Lady Bulldogs were scheduled to take on fourth-ranked Windthorst on Tuesday in a regional quarterfinal match in Weatherford.
