Hamilton County Hospital District Board of Directors met Monday and approved the hire of an optometrist, introduced a new officer and discussed staff wages.

Hamilton High School cheerleaders Landry Gardner, Whitley Arledge, Emma Ensor, Kensli “Sparky” Timmons, Emery McElroy, Marley Boatwright, Aria Fry and Kaitlyn Walton celebrated with Hamilton Junior High teacher Barbara Johnson her 55 years of teaching when the faculty at Hamilton Independent School District gathered last week to prepare for the new school year. The popular teacher was Miss HHS and has taught generations of Bulldogs.
A familiar face took the helm of Hamilton EDC and Main Street on Monday.
BACK TO SCHOOL CUTS- Kylan Elann works on a new back-to-school haircut for Kenley Medina Saturday at Rejuvenation Station. Stylists Andrea Fletcher, Crystal Rea and Elann and barber Brad Fletcher offered their skills to all children at no charge and also handed out school supplies. This is the ninth year the team has offered this event.
