Retired teachers to meet Sept. 24
Hamilton Public Library is excited to announce a new weekly program designed especially for elementary- aged children. Story Explorers will be held every Thursday beginning Sept. 25 at 2 p.m. and 4 p.m., offering young learners the chance to dive into a story and then bring it to life through engaging, hands-on activities.
New office hours at City Hall are being adopted to better serve residents and provide convenient access to services.
We all need, myself included, to make a more concerted effort to support our local volunteer fire departments. If you’re reading this and live in Hamilton County, your lives and property depend on the protection of your local VFD, and they all need our support, especially financially.
Hamilton Community Center is open 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Monday through Friday. Meals are served at 11:30 a.m. each day. Menu subject to change Thursday: Chicken pot pie and peach cups with Ginger snaps. Donated by Calvary Baptist. Dominoes at noon!
