100 YEARS STRONG
On May 29, 1920, a group of World War I veterans met at the Hamilton County courthouse and formed a temporary organization – Cunningham Post 222 of the American Legion.
HISD nixes remote learning
In a letter dated Oct. 13, Hamilton Independent School District announced that it would discontinue remote learning for students in pre-K and kindergar ten as well as grades six through 12 effective Oct. 20.

Watson seeks board seat
I’m Steven Watson and I would like to announce my candidacy for the Hamilton ISD School Board. I would like to thank past and current board members for their service to the district. I know that if you are going to be a good board member it takes time and effort. I’m a lifetime resident of Hamilton and I believe that I have a feel for the pulse of our community. I’m a proud member of the Bulldog class of 1979 and my oldest grandson Jaydon will be the 5 th generation of my family to graduate from Hamilton ISD when he graduates in 2022.
