Waco research firm seeks study participants

At Birkeland Current, a small lab in Waco, a new technology is being developed that uses home sensors to automatically detect Activities of Daily Living. When in use, these non-invasive detectors (no cameras, sound, or motion sensors) can bring any residence into the modern realm of remote assessment. VETERANS HONORED– Cranfills Gap honored veterans last Wednesday with the dedication of a new memorial. The Cranfills Gap Veterans Memorial is three double-sided stones engraved with more than 650 veterans’ names serving from present day through the Spanish American War, all with ties to Cranfills Gap. Jeanne Bayless was the Master of Ceremonies.

Military, tip and prayer

Thank you to the men that put the American Flags out in our yards. The Lions Club is doing a great service by doing this and it is so appreciated. It’s a lot of extra trouble to find each home’s little pipe that the flag fits in but want the men to know it’s worth it and so appreciated.
