TSTC culinary arts students put to the baking test
(WACO, Texas) - Students in Texas State Technical College’s Advanced Pastry Shop class in Waco presented their sweetest treats as part of a final exam on Thursday.
Lions honor Schrank
Hamilton Lions Club recognized Bert Schrank for 71 years of service last Wednesday.
“He is a blessing and has been for many years to this community,” said Lion Rodney Craddick. “He is a champion and we just love him to death.”
Heritage Days one week away
Hamilton County Heritage Days, sponsored by Lawson Implement, is only one week away.
For the first time ever, the three-day event will include a horseshoe tournament.
Council OKs budgets, plans
Hamilton City Council last Thursday via Zoom worked with Hamilton Economic Development Corporation, Main Street Project and Hamilton Chamber of Commerce to approve resolutions of their new budgets and other details to tie up FY 2020.
Free cuts
Hamilton hairdressers Crystal Hayes, Leiah Terry and Andrea Fletcher spent their Sunday afternoon giving free back-to-school haircuts at Rejuvenation Station. The trio said they did about 30 cuts.
Hound supper canceled for 2020
The Pecan Wells Hound Supper scheduled for Sept. 5 has been cancelled.
Hopefully they will be able to have it in 2021.
