By the time you read this, Hamilton will have gone through probably one of the worst winter storms in its history. If there’s any good side to this, it’s that we had plenty of notice to prepare. The city also had several meetings this week and took measures to be prepared. It’s times like this, when most of us will have a warm place to stay and not have to go outside, that we unsafe and an engineering report has been ordered to determine what will be needed to provide the required repairs to make the bridge safe for travel. This bridge will be closed for quite some time, so be aware and plan an alternate route.
Council meeting time changed The City of Hamilton Feb. 12 meeting will be held at a different time because of the TXDOT meeting scheduled at the same time. The 12 council meeting will be at 6:30 p.m.
