On a personal note, I want to thank Capt. Keith Kraatz, Lieutenant Cortney Renfro and Chief Deputy Ron Schmidt for their service to the citizens of Hamilton and Hamilton County. Together they combined to have 55 years in law enforcement and their influence and knowledge was immeasurable. While they will be missed, we are fortunate to still have experienced Sheriff’s Deputies who are dedicated to serving the citizens of Hamilton and Hamilton County and I ask for your prayers for their safety as they serve and protect us.
