Joseph Polster competed in the Cross Timbers FFA District Extemporaneous Speaking contest held recently in Comanche and placed 1st. This placing also qualified him to compete in the Area IV Extemporaneous Speaking contest that will be held in May. Joseph also ran for a Cross Timbers District Officer position and was elected to be the District Sentinel for the upcoming year. With more than 90 percent of all trade traveling by sea, and 95 percent of the world’s international phone and internet traffic carried through fiber optic cables lying on the ocean floor, Navy officials continue to emphasize that the prosperity and security of the United States is directly linked to a strong and ready Navy.
