USDA issues $557.5 million in emergency relief payments
COLLEGE STATION – Agriculture Secretary Tom Vilsack recently announced agricultural producers nationwide have already received more than $4 billion through the Emergency Relief Program, representing nearly 67% of the more than $6 billion projected to be paid through this phase of the program. Eligible producers in Texas have received $557.5 million in funding to date.

TPW accepting apps for drawn hunt permits
AUSTIN – New opportunities and scenery are available to hunters this fall through the Texas Parks and Wildlife Department’s drawn hunt permits program, now accepting applications for a shot at almost 10,000 permits in 62 hunt categories.
