Following a two year hiatus, head Bulldog basketball coach Howard Cox is back. Prior to Cox’s departure to join the Evant I.S.D. administrative team as a principal beginning in 2020, Cox spent 14 years coaching in Hamilton and 11 of those years as the head Bulldog basketball coach.

After a week of being on the road, the now 7-6 varsity Lady Bulldog basketball team was set to finally return home on Tuesday of this week to host Crawford. Following the Crawford matchup, the Lady Dogs are not scheduled to play again until Friday, December 16 versus Bangs in Hamilton.

Under the tutelage of 10 resilient seniors and a first year head coach in Ryan Marwitz, the Hamilton Bulldogs pieced together a football season for the ages in 2022. Posting a winning 7-6 record, the Bulldogs forged ahead on a memorable regional qualifying campaign. The last time a Hamilton football team was playing over the Thanksgiving holidays was in 2004 and 2005 when the Chris Wilde led Bulldogs advanced three games deep in consecutive seasons.
