Hamilton High School track athletes will compete in Clifton this Thursday beginning at 3:30 p.m. Hamilton Junior High will be in Clifton on Friday before returning home to host the HJH Extraco Relays next Monday beginning at 3:30 p.m.

LEADER of the Park 

Hamilton High School track and field athletes opened the track season in Comanche on Thursday of last week. In addition to facing stiff 1A through 3A competition, the Dogs and Lady Dogs braved the elements, including cool temperatures and a persistent rain. Due to the wet conditions, all hurdle events were canceled in Comanche.

Hamilton High School was represented on Saturday at the UIL Region II-Division IV Powerlifting Championships held on the campus of West High School by a handful of mighty competitors, including Ron Ramirez, Carson Marquess, Miguel Gonzalez, Nik Adams and Izaac Wood.

Hannah Bell is scheduled to represent Hamilton High School at the UIL State Powerlifting Championships next Wednesday at the Comerica Center in Frisco. Lifting is set to begin at 8 a.m.
