Hamilton’s student-athletes have given their community faithful much to celebrate over the past several days. After traveling to Brady on Thursday of last week to watch the Lady Bulldog volleyball team earn their second consecutive area championship with a three-set victory over Sonora, Hamilton’s fans returned home to Kooken Field on Friday to witness the Bulldogs clinch a third-place finish and a playoff bid with a 36-13 gridiron victory over Goldthwaite. Pictured the following morning on Saturday, Hamilton fans flocked to Round Rock to cheer on the Bulldogs and Lady Bulldogs at the UIL State Cross Country Championships. The Lady Bulldogs brought home their second straight and eighth all-time state title, and the Bulldogs defended their bronze medalist finish last season by placing sixth out of the state’s top 16 teams on Saturday in Round Rock.
