BATTING IT FORWARD
It was a “close but no cigar” kind of game April 13 when Hamilton lost 6-5 to Bosqueville in a late comeback. The Bulldogs would score at least a run every other innings and lead 5-3 after the fifth inning when Madden Weaver struck a ground ball single with loaded bases. Bosqueville’s consistency and defense kept them in the game until they were ready to strike from behind late in the game. After back-to-back singles, a quick ground ball scored two bosqueville runs in the sixth inning and tied the game with the pressure back on Hamilton. In the seventh innings a Bosqueville bulldog was hit by a pitch and then stole two bases and home plate to take the lead for the Hamilton. A scoreless final innings from Hamilton ended the game with a quick come from behind loss to Bosqueville.
Hamilton High School FCCLA members represented the Bulldogs well at the Texas FCCLA State Leadership Conference.
