Hamilton High School’s powerlifters, coached by Sonny DeLaGarza and Howard Cox, now have two competitions under their belt and will compete in Stephenville this Saturday before hosting a meet on Saturday, Feb. 22.
With one game remaining in Coleman on Tuesday of this week, the Lady Bulldogs held a half-game lead over the Coleman Lady Bluecats in the District 6-3A standings.
Four senior basketball players, along with their parents, and two senior cheerleaders/basketball managers were recognized during halftime of the Lady Bulldogs’ final home game versus Dublin last Friday.

In recognizing the top 1A- 6A football players throughout central Texas, the Waco Tribune-Herald bestowed 2019 honorable mention Super Centex honors upon Hamilton Bulldog middle linebacker Caleb Lengefeld last week.
