TRUCKING: Named offensive player of the game, Jakob Wal-ton barrelled for 145 yards and three touchdowns on just four carries in Hamilton's 54-0 blowout victory over Moody.
2020 LADY BULLDOGS: With matches scheduled on Tuesday of this week in Connally and final pre-district matches this Friday at Lake Belton, the Hamilton Lady Bulldog vol-leyball squads will open district in Meridian with a JV match scheduled for 5 pm and the varsity at 6 pm next Tuesday. In Lake Belton on Friday, var-sity will play at 4:30 pm fol-lowed by JV matches at 5:30 and 6:30. Hamilton's varsity Lady Bulldogs moved to 4-5 last week after dropping a four-game decision in Llano before outlasting 4A Venus in four sets on the road. The Lady Dogs fell at home last Saturday to Chil-ton in five competitive games. CLEAN SWEEP:For the third time this season, Hamilton’s varsity and two junior varsity volleyball squads perfected a three-match sweep over their opponent when they defeated Comanche on the road on Tuesday of last week.
Strike up the band. Football is here and the Friday night lights will be shining bright at Kooken Field this Friday as the Bulldogs usher in the much anticipated 2020 season versus the visiting Moody Bearcats at 7 p.m.
Long before the sun rises, Hamilton’s cross-country runners are hitting the trails in pursuit of another state title. Hamilton has claimed six cross-country state championships in all and has become a mainstay at the annual Texas UIL state meet.
Hamilton’s gridiron squads will finally face opposing colors as they travel to Comanche this Thursday for their first and only scrimmage of the season. Action in Comanche will kick-off at 6 pm.
The Lady Bulldogs hosted Dublin last Tuesday for their first home volleyball matches of the season and swept the visiting Lady Lions in seven games.
