WALTON RUNNING- Senior Jakob Walton, pictured running in the mile relay Friday, anchored both of Hamilton’s state-qualifying relays in Austin, and he placed sixth overall in the 2A state 200-meter dash.

Chloe and Cydney Dolloff competed on Powerhouse Cheer teams at Summit All-Star Cheer Championship at the ESPN complex in Orlando, FL last week. The bi-district qualifying Hamilton Bulldog baseball team improved to 19-8-1 on the year and 9-4 in district, picking up decisive 10-0, 10-1 and 13-0 wins respectively in their final three regular season games versus district foe’s Goldthwaite, Cross Plains and May.

Hamilton High School’s tennis teams fought hard at the 2A Region 2 championships last Monday and Tuesday in North Richland Hills, but failed to advance.

Evant senior Amy Pritchard will be competing on Saturday in the UIL State Track and Field Championships in the 800, 1600 and 3200-meter runs. Just recently, Pritchard also placed first in Copy Editing and second in Headline Writing at the UIL 1A State Academic Meet. Courtesy Photo
