Roy Stanley Bates, 85, of Evant, passed away May 23, 2025.
A memorial service will be held Saturday, June 7, at 10 a.m. at Purmela Baptist Church, 875 FM 932 Purmela.
He was born Feb. 27, 1940, on Vista Mountain to Marga-ret and Arvel Bates. He was a loving husband to Rita Bates and a devoted father to Ricky Bates, Randy Bates, Rodney Bates, Renea Kirksey and Rochelle Ninteman.
