Oct. 12, 1960-Sept. 27, 2026 Phillip Wayne Long, 65, of Hamilton, passed away Sunday, Sept. 27, 2026.
Phillip was the first-born son of Lora Mae Cobb and Harold Long on Oct. 12, 1960, in Bridgeport. He grew up around Newark and Whitney and went on to build a fulfilling life in Hamilton, making many great friends along the way.
Phillip was the father of Nicolette, Elizabeth and James Long, brother of Sissy Norman and Gary Cobb, and grandfather of Justin Long, Courtney White, Alexa Vance and Orion Selman.
Phillip was known for being quick-witted and hardworking, and for his love of old cars and motorcycles. He will be remembered most by his sense of humor and ability to take any situation and flip it around until you have a smile on your face.
He had such a dedication to his family and loved nothing more than to see everyone together.
He will be greatly missed.
