Patricia Deelynn Tubbs was born Dec. 23, 2002, in Temple.
At three weeks old, George Tubbs Sr. and Wilma Tubbs became her legal guardians. With plans to adopt her, George passed away before this could happen, but Wilma proceeded and did adopt her.
In 2005, “Papa Doug” came into the family. He and Wilma continued to raise her.
