Helen Jean Kelm, 87, passed away on Aug. 4, 2026, in Denton.
She was born in 1938 in Sentinel, Oklahoma, to J.B. and Elmettie (Smith) Worley.
Helen moved to Texas as a child and graduated from Lancaster High School in 1955.
A devoted Christian, Helen trusted God in all things and found her greatest joy in spending time with her family. She loved gardening, painting and reading, and she generously shared her love of the arts, literature and music with others.
Helen is preceded in death by her husband of 56 years, Roger Kelm; her parents; brothers, Billy Worley and J.B. Worley; sisters, Wanda (Worley) Elerson and Janie (Worley) Vinyard.
Survivors are her sons, Troy Vinson and Eric Vinson; daughters, Terry Ellison and Jennifer Bradshaw and husband Ashley; sister, Betty Venetten and husband Luckey; 10 grandchildren; and nine great- grandchildren.
