M. Allen Dodson, 81, passed away Jan. 21, 2026.
A memorial service will be held at St. John’s Lutheran Church Jan. 31 at 11 a.m.
Allen was born Aug. 5, 1944, to Emmett and Morine Smith Dodson, the third of their five children. He was raised in DeRidder, Louisiana.
On Oct. 1, 1966, Allen married Jane Sommerfeld in Aleman, and they welcomed their only daughter, Gena, on Dec. 5, 1969.
