Dr. Eli Douglas passed away surrounded by his family at Texas Health Presbyterian Hospital in Flower Mound at 88 years of age on Tuesday, Aug. 3, 2021.
He was born Marion Eli Douglas on Jan. 23, 1933, to Erwin Eli and Nettie Douglas in their family home.
Eli attended the Hamilton Public Schools, where he both discovered his passion for education and met the love of his life, Joan Sneed.
