While surrounded by family, Wanda Drue Koonce, at the vibrant age of 83, passed peacefully on Oct. 19, 2020 in Comanche.
She was born Jan. 7, 1937, in Waco to Arnold Robinson and Inez Davis. On Nov. 19, 1953, she married her soulmate, Gene Morris Koonce, who preceded her in death in February of 1998.
Wanda was a dedicated military wife and mother who embraced every available moment with her family. …
