By the time their eighth child arrived on Feb. 11, 1889, the Hunts were running out of names as well as room. The couple called the boy Haroldson Lafayette Jr., never dreaming he would prefer to go by his initials and someday would be the richest man in America.

CHAMPS - Hamilton’s eighth grade Bulldogs capped a 13-1 season on Monday with a 58-19 home win over Rio Vista to claim a district championship. The Combo Red Dogs wrapped up the season with a 10-4 record, and the Combo White Dogs won two and lost one this year. The Texas University Interscholastic League again reshuffled the deck last Thursday in announcing new fall and winter district alignments for the upcoming biennium.
