Homecoming week includes Hall events
Texas music singer/ songwriter Bart Crow is headlining the Jennifer Hall Memorial Scholarship dance rounding out an action-packed weekend of homecoming events. Originally from Maypearl, Crow wrote his first songs while serving in the U.S. Army but began performing live while attending Tarleton State University. Six number one singles have topped the Texas Music Charts since including: Wear My Ring, Dandelion and Life Comes at You Fast.
HISD, court set tax rates
Hamilton Independent School District board of trustees and Hamilton County Commissioners Court set taxing rates this week for the 2022-23 fiscal year, and the Hamilton City Council will have one more public hearing on its rate and budget before voting Sept. 8.
