In past Notes from the Mayor, I’ve shared some history of Hamilton. First was Horton Park and who it was named after, why it was named after him and his role in the Hamilton community at the time. I also shared how and from whom the county of Hamilton and the city received their name. There’s just so much interesting Hamilton history which needs to be shared and in which we can all take pride. I’ve always been curious about the railroad Hamilton once had and how it came about.
