Dove Pageant Saturday
The Hamilton County Dove Festival Pageant will be held this Saturday, Aug. 26, at 6 p.m. in the Chandler Craig Auditorium. Admission is $3, son and People’s Choice votes are $1 each.
Metallica donates to food bank
Grammy Award winning band Metallica has just ensured thousands of North Texans in the Tarrant Area will be able to feed their families this week by making a generous contribution of $35,000 via their foundation, All Within My Hands to the Tarrant Area Food Bank. The foundation also coordinated an afternoon of service, as three DFWbased Metallica fan clubs came out to volunteer at the food bank distribution center in Fort Worth.
