Vernon Gene Simpson, 85, of Hico passed away Sept. 7, 2018, in Glen Rose.
Graveside services were held Sunday, Sept. 9, in Hico Cemetery with Rev. Weldon Branham officiating.
Mr. Simpson was born Jan. 5, 1933, in Hamilton County to Robert and Nora (Rainwater) Simpson Sr.
He was preceded in death by his parents and brothers R.T. Simpson Jr., Earl Simpson and Lester Simpson.
